Albion Human Nutrition, Clearfield, UT,  welcomed Dr. Dennis Goodman, MD, FACC as the most recent addition to its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Goodman joins the board in its continued efforts to provide healthcare professionals, dietary supplement manufacturers, and consumers with the latest research and clinical evidence supporting the use of minerals to enhance human health.

Dr. Goodman is the Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Integrative Medicine & Wellness program at New York University in New York. He received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town School of Medicine in South Africa and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and his fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, integrative (holistic) medicine and four other cardiology subspecialties. He served as the Chairman of Cardiology at Scripps Memorial Hospital and has been in practice for over 25 years.

Dr. Goodman has received numerous awards and recognition, was recently named one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly, and is a sought-after international speaker who has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. Dr. Goodman has published many peer-reviewed articles and is the author of Magnificent Magnesium, Your Essential Key to a Healthy Heart and More, an acclaimed and informative guide on the clinical relevance of magnesium.
